Start Your Volunteer Journey

Step 1: Review Opportunities

Review the many opportunities to serve:

Step 2: Your Profile

The first step to becoming a volunteer is submitting or updating your online profile and completing all relevant information related to volunteering:

Step 3: Your Experience

A member of the WorldatWork team will review your updated profile and be in touch as volunteer opportunities that align with your experience arise. Please note that there are a limited number of opportunities to serve in some of the volunteer roles. Please let us know if you are flexible and able to serve where needed.

FAQ

How do I submit my experiences through the volunteer profile?

The profile is designed to make submission fast and easy. It may take 10 to 15 minutes to complete your profile, depending on how much information you include. You can save your work at any time and complete it later – just remember to hit the “Save” button before exiting your profile. Enter your contact information and experience in each section of the profile, as necessary. Once you are finished, click “Submit.”

Is my information secure?

Yes, your information is only available to designated WorldatWork staff and will not be released to anyone outside of WorldatWork.

Do I have to complete the volunteer profile?

To become a WorldatWork volunteer, yes you have to complete the profile. It provides us with the best tool to get to know your experience and areas of interests as well as locate opportunities that align with your experience and background.

I’ve submitted my profile, but have not been contacted. Do I need to do anything else?

No. Profiles are reviewed upon receipt and matched to opportunities as they become available. There are a limited number of opportunities to serve in some roles, and there can be a long wait time.

I’m interested in teaching, but there are currently no opportunities. Can I participate elsewhere?

Yes. If you are willing to be flexible, there are other opportunities to serve – you are not limited to the areas of interest you expressed in your volunteer profile either.

Can I speak with someone to learn more about the volunteer program at WorldatWork?

Yes, please contact us to schedule a time to connect.
