Conference Speaker

Conference speakers prepare and present industry findings on leading-edge research, innovative techniques and emerging trends through case studies, panel discussions and how-to models. They support WorldatWork’s mission by providing practitioners with training and education to effectively design and implement strategies and practices in total rewards, including compensation, benefits, work-life, recognition and career development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, submit for consideration and present a dynamic presentation.
  • Adhere to all deadline schedules outlined by WorldatWork regarding biographies, speaker agreements, presentation materials and audio/visual requests.
  • Arrange all necessary travel arrangements.
  • Validate all conference needs and information prior to departure.
  • Arrive to the presentation room early to check technology and room setup.
  • Respond and network with attendees.

Qualifications (or selection criteria):

  • Extensive knowledge of relevant and current topical area within total rewards.
  • Public speaking experience preferred.

Time Commitment:

  • Conference workshop sessions are 60 to 90 minutes, with additional time needed for setup.
  • Conference forum sessions typically are three hours, with additional time needed for setup.
  • Book signings, if applicable, typically are 30 to 60 minutes.


  • Continuous communications for presentation preparation from time of selection through delivery.
  • Online speaker reference guide.
